How to eliminate indoor air pollutants?

Indoor air pollution is widely proven by many observatories for indoor air quality around the world. Our indoor air contains more than a hundred pollutants that are harmful to our health and are released into the air by solvents used in furniture glues, paints, varnishes, floor coverings and also by household products. It is therefore natural and important to look for ways to eliminate indoor air pollutants.

Ventilation is the best way to renew the indoor air. This is the role of ventilation systems systems such as CMV (controlled mechanical ventilation). However, recent studies conducted by official bodies for building surveys have shown that many ventilation systems are inefficient. They are either under-dimensioned from the beginning, lose their power thus their effectiveness or their filters are not changed... All these systems operate on the principle of pressurizing the building by drawing in outside air.

The most effective system for guaranteeing healthy indoor air is however that of insufflation. That is overpressurizing the house in order to permanently expel the stale indoor air to the outside and replace it with healthy air. This is how Air Treatment Units (AHUs) operate.

For the air injected in the room to be really healthy, it passes through a specific filter which will retain particles, bacteria, pollens... it will also be preheated. The AHU is the best way to eliminate indoor air pollutants, some of which are particularly dangerous to health, such as radon, one of the major causes of lung cancer. This radioactive gas naturally present in some soils can concentrate in your indoor air.

The exclusive Murprotec method in 6 steps
Murprotec, a manufacturer and European leader of definitive treatments for humidity problems and indoor air quality, has also developed expertise in diagnosing the causes of excess moisture and in the implementation of solutions. More than 68 years of experience throughout Europe have enabled Murprotec to develop this efficient and complete method: from making the right diagnosis to the recommendation of the solution and the execution of the works by qualified professionals.
Step 1

Indoor and outdoor measurements of humidity and air quality, and taking samples if necessary.

Step 2

Analysis of the data and identification of the real causes of the humidity problem.

Step 3

Detailed expert report on the results of the analyses and recommendations for appropriate treatments.

Step 4

A technical visit before the intervention by applicators and installers to ensure its smooth running.

Step 5

Murprotec’s experts carry out the works and follow up with a dedicated contact person until completion.

Step 6

Verification and control of the waterproofing and disappearance of humidity 18 months after the end of the work.
