In a house dating from the 1950s, near a lake, traces of water flow appeared in a cellar used by the family to produce some wine from their vineyards. At first, these traces of humidity were not significant and did not alert the owners immediately. When the phenomenon became more serious, they first did some DIY work themselves but did not solve the problem before deciding to call Murprotec.
A risk to health and the building

The owners feared that the phenomenon would worsen by attacking the structure of the building, which was already showing signs of weakening. Allergic to pollen and a former cancer doctor, Mr. Obrist knew that allergens could develop in indoor air, particularly in the presence of mold due to humidity. He was well aware of the health risk they represent.

A diagnosis and clear recommendations

The diagnosis carried out by the Murprotec expert confirmed the presence of capillary rise and lateral thrusts creating water infiltration in the underground walls. The professionalism of the teams who intervened allowed us to clearly identify the work to be done in the cellar and near the entrance. The cellar was also in a bad state due to the humidity.
